We want to openly divulge our know-how to celebrate craftsmanship and genuine food, avoiding the cold culture of fast foods and large food chains.

De Pizza Chef sources the most genuine ingredients from selected Italian farms and combines them for the tastiest pizzas, according to the Neapolitan authentic pizza association: Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana.

We are an Italian catering company based in Rotterdam specialized in the making of Neapolitan pizza and authentic Italian dishes. We bring to the Netherlands the taste of a traditional Italian restaurant that from generations keep their recipe authentic, so that people can discover the real quality of authentic Italian food.

And why do we want this? Nowadays pizza is misused from the big industrial food chains, spoiling the quality and reputation of Italian food by using cheap ingredients and chemicals. Our mission is to protect and conserve the authenticity of important Italian dishes like they were made 100 years ago.
Our team of passionate chefs and our mobile catering are ready to bring you a great culinary experience and a cozy Italian atmosphere.

The team is guided by Jozsef, passionate pizza chef born and raised in Italy. He learnt the art of pizza making from his father and afterwards deepened his formation in dedicated pizza schools and Italian pizzerie.

  Bijzonder lekkere pizza bodems gemaakt door een enthousiaste ondernemer. Ik had nooit verwacht dat je met een gewone oven pizza’s kan maken die smaken naar een beleving die je normaal gesproken alleen op een Italiaans terras krijgt.

  Fantastisch leuke workshop. Van begin tot eind werd alles goed uitgelegd en het resultaat was een heerlijke Napolitaanse pizza. Nu hopen dat wij het thuis ook zo goed kunnen 🍕 Ik zou de workshop absoluut aanraden.

  We hebben samen met mijn man deelgenomen aan deze pizzaworkshop en vonden het geweldig! We hebben zoveel geleerd en beseften dat we thuis zoveel fouten maakten. Pizza maken lijkt eenvoudig, maar eigenlijk zijn er zoveel details die zo belangrijk zijn om echt goede, authentieke pizza te maken! Joseph was supervriendelijk en deskundig, hij heeft ons heel veel geleerd en we hebben onze eigen pizza gemaakt. Hij was superlekker en we hebben hem daarna met een drankje opgegeten.
